Can I see any samples of your units?

Yes of course. Fill in the sample request form on our homepage here. We’re totally transparent with our resources.

I can’t log in to my account, how do I reset my password?

Go to the My Account page on our website and click ‘Forgot password?’ (it’s in red at the bottom of the box on the left-hand side of the page). Then just type in your email address and click ‘RECOVER PASSWORD’. You will receive an email with a ‘Reset your password’ button. Follow the instructions to set a new password. If you do not receive an email, please double check you’re using the correct email address. It must be the one that is linked to your account.

How do I place an order?

You can order anything from our library directly on our website. Simply create a customer account online (or log in to your existing one). Add the qualifications/units you need to your cart then head to the checkout. You can pay via credit card or select EFT and you will receive an invoice that you can then process your end. Alternatively, email emily@rtomaterials.com.au and she’ll sort everything out for you.

When do I receive my units?

If you have ordered available units, we will release the downloads as soon as payment is received. You can then download the units immediately. If you have ordered pre-order units, you will receive those as soon as they are released. Our automated system will inform you as soon as a pre-ordered unit becomes available, and you can then download it immediately.

How do I pay my invoice?

The details you need to process payment via EFT are on your invoice. If you would like to pay by credit card, log in to your customer account and click the 'Pay Now' button next to the relevant order on your dashboard. Then follow the steps to make payment.

How can I see if you have what I need?

Head to our Resources Page. You can browse via Package, Qualification or Unit or use the handy search bar to find something specific. Alternatively, you can email us and we’d be happy to help.

What if I can’t see the resources that I’m looking for?

Don’t worry! You never know what we’ve got up our sleeve. Just send us a quick email and tell us what you’re looking for. We’d be happy to help. If we don’t have it planned, we can explore the possibility of writing it for you.

Are the resources updated regularly?

Yes, we regularly update our materials in line with new standards and requirements to maintain their accuracy, quality and relevance.

Do I have to pay for updates?

No! Our updates are provided free of charge whether it is an update in line with information on training.gov.au or updates made by us during our continual review and revision process. The only exception to this service is when a unit, qualification or package is superseded. Here, you will be offered a fair price for the new materials.

I’ve received an email informing me something has been updated, now what do I do?

It’s important you’re using the latest version of your resources so our automated system will always inform you if we’ve updated any units you currently have in your account. Simply log in to your customer account, head to My Downloads and download the updated unit. If you miss any updates, next time you log in, any units that have been updated since the last time you downloaded them will be highlighted in yellow. So, you can easily see what you need to download. Once downloaded, a Version History document is included so you can see the changes made.

What exactly do I get when I purchase a unit?

You get everything that you need to get started. We provide Learner Guides, Workbooks and Mapping Documents, along with all the supporting documents you need to deliver the course. A full list of documents can be seen on individual unit product pages.

How do I know what all the documents are for?

Once you download a unit, you will find a document called ‘Introduction to unit’. This details what each of your documents is and what it is used for.

Can I see your prices?

Yes, of course. All of our prices are clearly displayed on our website. Our individual units are priced at $599. Our qualifications are priced according to how many units are included.

Are there any hidden fees I need to know about?

No. The prices you see are the prices that you pay. You can use our materials as much as you need with no limitations. There are no annual fees you need to worry about.

How does your licensing work?

Our licensing agreement is straightforward. You can edit the materials, use them as much as you wish in any location, and print them as much as required. The materials are licensed to a single RTO. We only ask you not to sell them, give them away or use them to create another training package. Copies of our licences are available to review here.

Can I edit the resources?

Yes, our resources are fully editable. You can edit, contextualise and brand the resources as needed. We provide our materials in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, so editing them is straightforward.

Are your resources compliant?

At RTO Materials, all our resources and materials are written to be compliant and meet auditing standards. We’ve been around since 2009 and pride ourselves on our customers’ continuous success at audit.

What do I have to do to get my resources audit ready?

We write our materials to meet auditing standards, but every RTO is advised to validate and contextualise our resources to get them audit ready. We’ve put a handy guide together (included in all units) to help you with this process.

Can I see customer reviews?

You can see what our customers say about us on our reviews page here. We are the only resource provider with an independent and verified review page. So, you don’t have to take our word – see for yourself!

Us! We’re proud of our in-house development team. No outsourcing is needed here! That means you get a product that is consistent and supported.
